You can buy electronic gift cards and easily share it with friends and family members. If you are not sure how to proceed, we will show you the simple steps to follow.

1. Choose Your Gift Cards

Login to your FundScrip account and buy any gift cards that you want as normal, but to be able to share it with a friend or a family member, make sure to choose an electronic gift card.

2. Make the Payment

After you choose the cards and put them in your cart, choose a payment method and follow the steps. As we mentioned in our article about how to Use Electronic and Reloadable Gift Cards in the FundScrip Wallet, you will receive an email with your order’s confirmation after.

3. Find the eGift Cards in Your FundScrip Wallet

In the confirmation email, you will have a link to click on that will bring you to your gift card directly in your FundScrip Wallet.

4. To Share eGift Cards That Are Redeemed In-Store

Some electronic gift cards, like those from Dollarama, are used by redeeming them in-store. In order to share these cards, visit the eGift Card redemption page and click the "Print to Redeem" button, you can then either print the card and give it to someone, or if you want to give it to someone virtually, simply choose the "Save as PDF" option and send the PDF to the person of your choice by email.

5. To Share eGift Cards That Are Redeemed Online

For eGift Cards that are redeemable online, like Amazon.ca cards, in order to share these cards simply visit the redemption page of the electronic gift card. Right click on the button "Redeem Online", and then ‘Copy link address’ and send it by email.
