A Guide to Launching Your Successful FundScrip Program
To help you with the launch process, we've put together a handy guide that walks you through the steps required to reach your fundraising goals.
Schedule Order Dates in Advance
It's best to plan ahead by scheduling order dates in advance. By selecting dates in advance, it's much easier to organize and promote the program to your supporters.
We recommend a monthly ordering schedule.
Although it's important to provide an order schedule to your supporters, remember that you can place orders at any time on the Program Manager site.
Create Your Paper Order Forms
Login to the Program Manager site, then click the Orders main menu item, and finally click Order Form Settings. Please note that if it's your first time logging into the Program Manager site, you may be automatically directed to this page in order to configure the Paper Order Forms.
- Province
- By choosing a province you ensure that the order forms, both paper and online, display only the retailers which provide cards that are valid in the indicated province.
- Order Form Type
- Selecting the Long Form provides the full list of available retailers and denominations when printed.
- Selecting the Short Form provides an abridged list of the most popular retailers and denominations that fits neatly on to one page when printed.
Download a copy to your desktop and you will be ready to print and/or distribute by email.
Distribute Your Paper Order Forms
The main methods of distributing your Paper Order Forms:
- Distribute in person
- Print out enough Paper Order Forms to hand out to your supporters in person.
- Distribute by email
- Send the PDF version of the Paper Order Form to supporters by email.
