A Guide to Launching Your Successful FundScrip Program

To help you with the launch process, we’ve put together a handy guide that walks you through the steps required to reach your fundraising goals.

Group Payment Methods

There are two available group payment methods. Electronic Funds Transfer (preferred), or In-Branch Deposit via BMO Bank of Montreal.

  • Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) - FREE - Preferred payment method
  • EFT is an online debit that allows supporters to pay for your orders directly from your bank account
  • Easiest way to pay for orders: it's like paying by cheque, but without the paper
  • Free to use, no transaction fees and no monthly fees
  • Private, safe, and secure
  • To activate EFT, supporters must login and follow the instructions on the EFT page of the Supporter Site.
  • In-Branch Deposit via BMO Bank of Montreal - $2.00 per transaction
  • You will receive a payment form when you have finished placing your orders. Fill out the form, then go to any BMO branch with the form and a group cheque to make the payment. Once we have confirmation from BMO that the payment is received, your order will be considered confirmed payment and your order will go into the next available order processing day.

Shipping

  • Shipping promotions
  • There are shipping promotions available. Orders totalling $3,000 to $4,999 are half-price. Orders totalling $5,000 or more are FREE. Your goal should be to never have to pay for shipping. Shipping promotions are subject to change at any time.
  • Shipping policy
  • Fundscrip ships your order via courier. You will receive a tracking number so you can follow up on your own order online. Please be aware that once you sign for your order, the cards become your responsibility and if they are lost or stolen they are not refundable or replaceable. We send your orders with a packing slip that list all the orders you should be receiving. It’s highly advisable that you have people sign for their orders when they receive them.
  • Shipping cost
  • The cost is approximately $15-$25 per delivery and this amount is deducted from your donations. You will be able to follow these deductions on your account statement on your Program Manager site.

Processing & Shipping Schedule

We process orders 5 days a week at 9:00am ET once we have confirmed payment:

Order processed Monday

Delivery occurs on Thursday / Friday

Order processed Tuesday

Delivery occurs on Friday / Monday

Order processed Wednesday

Delivery occurs on Monday / Tuesday

Order processed Thursday

Delivery occurs on Tuesday / Wednesday

Order processed Friday

Delivery occurs on Wednesday / Thursday

Add one business day to delivery time if you are in a two day delivery zone, or if there are any courier, or weather delays.
