A Guide to Launching Your Successful FundScrip Program
To help you with the launch process, we've put together a handy guide that walks you through the steps required to reach your fundraising goals.
Ordering Schedule
In order to manage the logistics of having supporters place their own order online, then having them shipped together to a central location, it is necessary for you to follow an ordering schedule. Below are your scheduling options:
- Fixed or Custom Schedule
- FundScrip offers both fixed (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly) and custom schedules.
- Processing Days and Ordering Deadlines
- FundScrip process orders four days a week (Monday through Thursday).
- All orders must be placed on FundScrip's ordering website before 9:15 AM ET to be included in any given Group Order.
Processing & Shipping Schedule
We process orders 5 days a week at 9:00am ET once we have confirmed payment:
Order processed Monday
Delivery occurs on Thursday / Friday
Order processed Tuesday
Delivery occurs on Friday / Monday
Order processed Wednesday
Delivery occurs on Monday / Tuesday
Order processed Thursday
Delivery occurs on Tuesday / Wednesday
Order processed Friday
Delivery occurs on Wednesday / Thursday
Add one business day to delivery time if you are in a two day delivery zone, or if there are any courier, or weather delays.
Shipping
- Shipping promotions
- There are shipping promotions available. Orders totalling $3,000 to $4,999 are half-price. Orders totalling $5,000 or more are FREE. Your goal should be to never have to pay for shipping. Shipping promotions are subject to change at any time.
- Shipping policy
- Fundscrip ships your order via courier. You will receive a tracking number so you can follow up on your own order online. Please be aware that once you sign for your order, the cards become your responsibility and if they are lost or stolen they are not refundable or replaceable. We send your orders with a packing slip that list all the orders you should be receiving. It’s highly advisable that you have people sign for their orders when they receive them.
- Shipping cost
- The cost is approximately $15-$25 per delivery and this amount is deducted from your donations. You will be able to follow these deductions on your account statement on your Program Manager site.
Distribution
Supporter orders are shipped together as one group order via courier to a single location specified during the enrollment process; then orders must be distributed to supporters or a pre-authorized pick-up person.
