Cegep Beauce-Appalache's Social Science Program Raises More Than $20,000 for Educational Trips

The Social Science program at Cegep Beauce-Appalaches has raised more than $20,000 for educational trips. Even though this is their 15th trip, they only started using FundScrip in November 2013. "FundScrip has also become the most effective way to finance our trips, especially by doing it long term " said FundScrip group administrator Jonathan Roy Marois. These educational trips are organized in conjunction with the Integrative Seminar course which gives the students the opportunity to put into practice some of the social science methods that they’ve learned, with the goal of tackling various issues that exist at their destination.

Etobicoke Youth Band Members Raise Over $24,000 to Travel Across North America

The Etobicoke Youth Band is a community-based band of over 100 high school students from different schools in the Greater Toronto Area. The band was formed to give music students the opportunity to play a wide repertoire of music, from classic to pop. The band performs locally in the community, as well as performing throughout North America. Using the FundScrip fundraising program, the group was able to raise an impressive $24,274.35 to date. Warman Community Middle School in Saskatchewan Raises $8,600 in Just One Order

Parents and teachers from Warman Community Middle School (WCMS) in Saskatchewan raised roughly $8,600 with FundScrip in just one order using paper order forms. The local community newspaper, Clark’s Crossing Gazette, featured the fundraising achievement. With the ultimate goal of raising $7, 500 for their extracurricular program, Greg Tebay, the principal of WCMS, issued a challenge where he would sleep on the roof of the school if the fundraising goal was met. Exceeding their expectations, the goal was surpassed after only one order.
